August Currently...I Can't Believe It!


      I CAN’T believe that August is here!  As much as I am sad that August means that summer is almost over, I also love August.  It means a new year with new kiddos and BEST of all it is my BIRTHDAY month! I always tell my students that it is the best month of course for that reason.  
      I am linking up again with Farley for her August Currently Linky.  This is going to be a BUSY month, for sure.  
   In Chicago, I had the opportunity to hear Cara Carroll present and she showed us her Math Missions packet.  She JUST posted it today and I am going to grab a copy.  You should too.  It looked SO cute and I know my little ones would LOVE solving some math mysteries!

    My to-do list was way too long as well. I wish I would have finished everything on my list. I just don't know where summer went. I found you on the linky! :)

      I know! The problem I have had is that I keep doing things not even on my to do list! Good luck with yours!

    Ditto...my to-do list is super long. Hopefully, you have some more time before you return to school. T-minus 2 weeks for me! :(

    LOVE Cara Carroll's products! Where did you get to see her? I love your Novel Studies in your TpT store. They will be perfect for some of my guided reading lessons.

      Stacy, I was lucky enough to attend the Extraordinary Educators Conference in Chicago, last week. It was amazing. There were so many great speakers. I was able to meet a few bloggers as well. Cara Carroll and Abbey Mullins were there! I hope you enjoy the Novel Studies! They make it so easy to grab and go with some of my reading groups.

    I feel like every time I cross something off my summer to do list, I'm adding three or more new things. I'm trying to stretch these next two weeks to be verrrrrry long. Or, I just might not sleep until the weekend after school starts (that would work, right?)
