Wordless Wednesday

I am linking up with Sugar and Spice for another Wordless Wednesday.  I keep reading  about other people's "to do lists", so I know I am not the only one who has a long and running to do list.   I am wondering if I am the only one who keeps getting distracted?!?
I just really enjoy reading and there is nothing better than reading by the pool.  This summer, I have done a little better by limiting my time at the pool each day, but then I just end up staying up late reading.  Either way, I end up neglecting things on my to do list, for my books and the pool. Oops!

SO, what gets in YOUR way of doing things on your to do list, during the summer?!??  I'd love to know!  (I know I can't be the only one!) haha...Happy Wednesday!

  1. Blogging gets in my way....no, just kidding! I am fairly disciplined about accomplishing things! I get up early, walk, and get busy on the day's list! I don't always get everything on the list completed, but I use my time well. I set a timer when I'm on the computer and make myself get up when the timer buzzes and get busy doing something else! However, if I had a pool like that outside my door, I would be in it with a book in my hand!

  2. I think you should keep hanging out at the pool and reading. Let's face it...that to do list is ALWAYS going to be there...no matter what. You might as well enjoy your break! Seriously...don't feel guilty about it either!!!

  3. You are not alone in this! I am told all to often to just give yourself some time. I usually try to recuperate in June then slowly work in some "school related items" (reading PD books, creating, thinking about organization) in July. But I have to maintain my reading/coffee/day trips in July for balance. Your poolside view is stunning, by the way. I agree Alison, it will always be there! Enjoy!

  4. I've done pretty good about staying on track with my to-do list so far. I've had a couple bumps due to some show on netflix (Orange is the New Black & House of Cards) that have hindered my productivity a little. But, that's what summer is for right?

  5. What a beautiful pool! I am so jealous! During the summer laying out gets in the way of doing things that are on my to do list! I just wish I had a pool to lay out by! Haha! And I love your blog! Super cute! I am your newest follower!

  6. Thanks!! I am glad to hear that we all have some things that get us off track a little! I am not feeling guilty yet, but I have a feeling it could come in August when I haven't done all I wanted to do! Thank you for stopping by! I did spend a few hours at the pool reading today!! :)

  7. I agree with the two Alison's! Lists are great, but you need to give yourself permission to let lists go a little bit during your break! You owe yourself that much. Be kind to yourself. You've earned it.
