Wordless Wednesday: Kindles!

This is my first time linking up for Wordless Wednesday and I am excited to join in on the fun! I finally received my Kindles and a Kindle Fire from Donor's Choose.  I've created a schedule for my kids, but I am still not too happy with it and will work to find  a better schedule for next year.

How to you organize/monitor/assign technology use in your classroom? I'd love to hear your ideas!

  1. Our kids are mandated to go on this program, i-Ready, for a math and reading lesson each day. (It's not my favorite, but it's required, so here I go...) There is a chart in my room with each child's number. I start at #1 and go through to #18 in order. First thing in the morning the first kid goes on and takes a reading lesson. We have five computers in our room so 5 can go at a time. When the kid is done, they just flip their card over. This helps me to see which kids still need to take their online lesson. The kids know to just go get the next person on the chart when they are done on the computer. It has worked wonders this year and has allowed me to get each kid on TWO differentiated computer lessons each day. Whew!

  2. I'm jealous of your kindles! Looks like fun! =)

I also teach 3rd so I was super excited to find your blog!
