A Year in Preview Linky Party

Ready for 2013!

I am Linking up with Michelle at Making it as a Middle School Teacher for her Linky: What's ahead for you in 2013?
I think that 2012 has been a great year!  The numbers 12 and 13 are, and have been, my two lucky numbers since grade school.  So, I like to think that these two years have to be lucky for me!  As I look into the new year, I hope to grow my blog and TpT site, learn more about Reader's Workshop, and take my ESL Praxis.  However, I would also like to spend a little more time relaxing and enjoying myself.  With full implementation of the Common Core this year and just getting going as a seller on  TpT, I feel as though I never save time for myself anymore.  That is one of my biggest goals in the new year.
Here are my 13 goals for 2013:

I hope you have a very happy New Year's Eve!  I hope that the New Year brings great things!

  1. I love Dr. Seuss day! Good luck with Reader's Workshop - it's awesome!

  2. Thanks! I'm liking what I've seen and read so far, but change is always a little scary! Happy New Year!

  3. I'm glad you mentioned Reader's Workshop. As I read The Book Whisperer, it seems like that would be a great match. Good luck with all your goals in 2013!

  4. Looks like we've got a similar personal goal! ha!! I used to work out ALL the time. Funny how quickly a routine breaks! Organizing is one of those things that is ALWAYS on my list!!!! Personally and in classroom! Can't ever quite check it off the list! Best of luck to you this year! Be well!

  5. Thanks ladies! Best of luck for you both on your goals as well!

  6. Thank you so much for linking up with me!

I would love to have an iPad cart. I have my own personal one that I use for a few apps that help with documentation, but teaching with iPads would be amazing!

Best wishes on all your goals. :)

  7. Miss King,
YOU must save time for yourself! You surely don't want to learn that lesson the way your mother did! Start today with just an hour. You deserve to put time aside for just you! No one else can do it for you.
    Love,Your Mother!
