Wordless Wednesday- Laminate, cut, repeat!

I am linking up with Sugar and Spice for another Wordless Wednesday!  My picture was taken today after making stop at Lakeshore Learning to do a little laminating!.  I don't know about you, but our school allows us to laminate   The problem though is that I feel like at the beginning of the year laminating is ENDLESS.  I am always finding something else I need want to laminate. Plus, it is WAY more convenient to have things laminated and ready to go when I walk in the door to set up my room. Right?!?! So, today I laminated over 20 feet of awesomeness that I have purchased and created this summer.

I have two questions for you today!
Does your school allow you to laminate anything or do you need permission?  Also, do you laminate things over the summer, too, so you are ready, or do you wait?

  1. We can laminate. Unfortunately the person who deals with the laminating film rarely comes in during summer, so if it runs out, we are out of luck.

    1. That's nice that you can do it over the summer. That's a bummer about it running out though.

  2. My school has a laminator that we can use for anything. If we run out of film during the year we don't always get more. Just depends on the budget. I also have a little one at home that I use when I want something with a heavier plastic. My daughter's school has a laminating person and you have to leave stuff with her. It isn't done instantly and it is limited. She bought a small home laminator to do her own stuff!

    1. I've considered getting a small one for home, but then I always change my mind. It may happen at some point in the future!

  3. Love the name of your blog!! At our school, we are allowed to laminate whatever we want during the school year. However, we can't get in to the building during the summer because of cleaning/painting/etc. So I don't get to start on my laminating until school starts up again in August! So glad I met you through the linky!!

  4. We are able to laminate as much as we would like at our school. Our technology committee does a fundraiser and uses some of the funds for laminating film. I was able to get into school today to use the color copier and laminator. My classroom hasn't been cleaned yet, but it is nice to be able to do this stuff!

    1. Ahh...I am jealous! My old school had unlimited (well sort of) color printing and my new school is quite the opposite! Glad you were able to get some things done!

  5. We used to be able to laminate freely, but now we have to turn materials in to be laminated. The turnaround is pretty quick, but we can't laminate as much as I would like to. I wish they would cut for us too - ha! :)

Love your blog. So glad I found you!

    1. Thanks for stopping by! My old school had a PTA box where parents would work on things like laminating and cutting for us! It was AMAZING!!
